Intermediate Cecchetti, currently studying Cert III in dance (VCE/VET Dance)

Meet Tess Pye, a long-time student at Peninsula School of Dance. Tess has completed numerous classical ballet and tap examinations to a high level and achieved outstanding results. Tess has been a member of the DanceStep teacher training program for the last 4 years and has developed a strong love of working with our preschool and junior students.

Her love of performing and musical theatre has been fostered by being involved in numerous Peninsula School of Dance productions and events, including performing as a lead in the cast of Into the Woods and in Jason Coleman’s “Humanimals.” She was also a company member of Spark Productions from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, including being a Choreographer for “Or Fold”.

In 2021, Tess was Dance Captain in Peninsula Grammar’s production of “Mamma Mia”. In 2022 she was Dance Captain and Student Choreographer in the captivating performance of “Little Shop of Horrors.” Tess’s choreographic prowess was further showcased in “Madagascar Jr” during the same year.

Tess is currently in year 12 and has diligently balanced her VCE/VET dance studies at Peninsula School of Dance with teaching work and with being of Dance Captain and Student Choreographer “Jesus Christ Superstar” production.
