Intermediate Cecchetti, Unit 1/2 VCE Dance

Lara Hughes has been a student at Peninsula School of Dance for a number of years and has absolutely loved it, recently finding her own joys and passions for teaching in addition to her love for performing.

Over her years at PSD, Lara has completed a number of ATOD and Cecchetti exams achieving high results as well as being involved many other performance opportunities such as Victorian Dance Festival. She also has been a part of the DanceStep program for many years where she discovered her love for working with preschool and primary school children, supporting them to blossom and grow.

Extending beyond her training at PSD, Lara’s love for dance has extending into her schooling where she has been involved in performing in Dromana Colleges 2022 musical as well as the schools 2023 Wakakirri performance.

Through her teaching at PSD, Lara has discovered her passion for education and is looking to further this study in the next years.
