PSD Broadway Productions
ages 7+
Each year, our students have the exciting opportunity to audition for a Broadway-style production—a truly immersive “triple threat” experience! From audition workshops to vocal coaching and rehearsals, students develop their skills in singing, dancing, and acting as they prepare for this spectacular performance.
But this experience is about so much more than performing on stage. It’s an enriching journey that shapes skills, fosters personal growth, and sparks creative expression.
Through acting, singing, and dancing, students gain the technical and artistic abilities to bring stories to life. They build confidence in themselves, learning to perform with passion and connect with an audience. The rehearsal process teaches the value of teamwork, resilience, and dedication, as students work closely with peers and mentors to achieve a shared creative vision.
Musical theatre also provides a powerful outlet for self-expression. By stepping into different roles, exploring characterisation, and engaging with rich narratives, students discover new ways to express themselves. Along the way, they gain practical insights into the performing arts, from refining their craft to understanding the commitment required to deliver a professional-level production.
For every student, it’s a chance to build life skills, create lifelong memories, and develop lasting friendships. This transformative experience helps students grow as both performers and individuals, and we can’t wait to see them shine in our 2025 production.
To set students up for success, we recommend enrolling in jazz or tap classes to build technical dance skills. For those hoping to secure lead roles, our small group singing classes are an excellent way to prepare for the vocal demands of standout performances.
Auditions will be held in Term 1, with rehearsals running throughout Term 2 and the production taking centre stage mid-Term 3. Stay tuned for more details about our 2025 production—we can’t wait to see the magic unfold!
