Peninsula School of Dance Expands to Frankston – A New Chapter Begins

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Peninsula School of Dance is expanding! From Term 2, 2025, we will proudly welcome the students, families, and legacy of Caballero Classical Ballet into our dance family, with the opening of Peninsula School of Dance – Frankston Studio.

This is a deeply exciting and meaningful milestone for us—and one that’s been guided by our core purpose: to create vibrant, inclusive communities where every dancer feels empowered to grow, create, and shine.

Honouring a Beautiful Legacy

Caballero Classical Ballet has long been recognised for its excellence in Cecchetti ballet training and the warmth and care of its teaching team. Under the guidance of Miss Beth, the studio has nurtured generations of dancers in Frankston and beyond.

We are honoured to continue this tradition of excellence by welcoming the Caballero community into Peninsula School of Dance. Importantly, we’re not “replacing” anything—we’re building on what’s already so loved. PSD Frankston will carry forward the same spirit of care, quality training, and creative opportunity, now supported by the broader PSD framework.

What This Means for Rosebud Families

To our beloved Rosebud community—nothing is changing at your home studio.

Your teachers, classes, and studio experience remain exactly as they are. I will continue to lead and nurture the Rosebud campus with the same commitment and presence as always. Our expansion simply gives us an opportunity to extend what we do so well to a neighbouring community, and create new moments of connection, collaboration, and shared performance across both studios.

Why This Expansion Matters

This new Frankston location allows us to:

  • Grow our dance family while maintaining personalised, high-quality training

  • Offer new programs to more young people, including our Petite Program, DanceStep leadership training, and performance streams

  • Provide more performance opportunities, including our Mid-Year Cabaret and End-of-Year Showcase

  • Bring more families into a culture that values inclusion, excellence, fun, and leadership

It’s about growing with purpose, not just in size.

For Our Frankston Families

Your current classes and beloved teachers, including Miss Beth and Miss Sandra, will continue just as they are. You’ll also begin to meet our extended team from PSD, including Miss Mel, our Artistic Programs Coordinator Rebecca Magazzu, and our Production Manager Alex Dellaportas.

From Term 2, your enrolment will move into the PSD system with access to our customer portal, performance program, and wider support team. We’re here every step of the way to help you settle in with ease.
