Studio Operations Coordinator

Skyla started her journey with Peninsula School of Dance at the age of three years old and has been with the school ever since. Beginning in ballet classes Skyla’s passion for dance blossomed, with styles such as jazz, tap and contemporary contributing to her present day love for the art.

Skyla has had lead roles in multiple Peninsula School of Dance performances such as Augutus in the 2022 production of Wonka and Gaston in 2023’s Beauty and the Beast. Similarly, in 2023 Skyla successfully completed VCE/VET dance with the school which involved her performing a theatrical jazz and beautiful contemporary solo as part of the course. Skyla’s love for performing has been encouraged and fostered throughout her time at Peninsula School of Dance with her training in Cecchetti Ballet and Australian Teachers of Dancing allowing her to perform at a high level.

Currently, Skyla is studying to become a secondary school science teacher to share and educate future students on one of her many other passions.
