JASON COLEMAN

“It was my school, my club, my friends. It was my happy place.”
— Jason Coleman

That boy in the centre there? Still Rosebud’s very own Dancing Man… and this year, he’s coming home.

We are beyond excited to share that Jason Coleman will be hosting our 65th Anniversary Gala, celebrating this incredible school and honouring our founder, Sandra Allan OAM. From his very first classes at the Rosebud Memorial Hall to the world’s biggest stages – Jason’s journey began right here. And now, he’ll be back to celebrate the place where it all started.

The PSD Legacy Project is a once-in-a-generation initiative to preserve and celebrate over 65 years of Peninsula School of Dance history. With thousands of students, families, and performances shaping our story, many of these memories currently exist in fragile, scattered forms — and this project will ensure they are professionally archived, documented, and shared for future generations.

Through archival digitisation, storytelling, and the creation of lasting tributes, the Legacy Project will safeguard the impact of PSD for years to come. Community members and businesses can become a Partner by supporting the project through sponsorship or donation, playing a vital role in protecting and honouring this extraordinary legacy.
