Dance Classes: Ballet, Associate studies
Beth Caballero brings a lifetime of artistry, care and dedication to her ballet teaching. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Beth discovered ballet as a child and quickly fell in love with the joy, musicality and expressive nature of the art form. Her early training in the Cecchetti Method profoundly shaped her approach to dance, instilling a deep appreciation for musicality, dynamics and the emotional connection between movement and music.
Beth holds her Cecchetti Final Diploma and has taught extensively across all levels, from beginner dancers through to Diploma. Across her career, she has guided students through examinations, performances and auditions, with former students progressing to institutions such as the Victorian College of the Arts and professional companies including Queensland Ballet. Beth is particularly known for her ability to create classes that are uplifting, nurturing and calm, where students feel supported to grow both technically and personally.
After relocating to Australia in 2007, Beth founded Caballero Classical Ballet in Frankston in 2008. Over the next 17 years, she built a studio renowned for its strong technical foundation, warm studio culture and loyal community. In 2025, Caballero Classical Ballet proudly became part of Peninsula School of Dance – Frankston campus, allowing Beth to continue focusing on what she loves most: teaching and mentoring dancers.
Beth is proud to be part of the Peninsula School of Dance faculty under the direction of Melanie Gard, sharing a strong commitment to inclusive, child-centred and inspired dance education. She continues to find great joy in guiding students through their ballet journey and contributing choreography to the studio’s end-of-year productions.
